Safe relationships

Every child deserves to be safe

The safe relationship guide is designed for individuals/parents to use to help educate children and young people about the signs of grooming and safe relationships.

The first part of the guide is all about helping children and young people, learn about some of the signs of grooming and building their confidence to boundary themselves and speak with an adult.

The guide aims to help young people gain skills. knowledge and tools to:

  • Spot the signs of grooming early
  • Implement boundaries
  • Speak to an adult about their concerns

The second part of the guide is designed to equip young people ages 14-18 who can be vulnerable to domestic abuse and also those who are beginning to show signs of controlling behaviour.
